What Is a Corporate Cricket Event?

A corporate cricket league is an organised competition in which the teams belong to companies rather than to clubs. In PCL, participation has been open to any registered company or organisation. Players turn out for their company's side, and in past tournaments every fixture was one company against another. For more, read the guide to corporate cricket and the PCL.

How the PCL Format Works

PCL tournaments have been played in T20. The league organises its cricket in tournaments, and each tournament is played in editions. In past editions each edition had its own fixture list:

1. a league stage, where teams play their group fixtures;
2. knockout rounds, ending in a final.

Matches have been played at cricket grounds in Lahore.

When Did PCL Start?

The Pakistan Corporate League was founded in 2020 in Lahore. It began as a small tournament with a few company teams. The story is on the About page.
