1. Introduction

This policy explains what happens to information about you when you visit therealpcl.com, the website of the Pakistan Corporate League("PCL", "we", "us").

• The site has no accounts, sign-in or forms.
• We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used.
• We show ads through Google AdSense, which uses cookies.
• Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent through Google's consent message. Until they choose, Analytics runs without cookies and ads are not personalised.
• If you email, call or WhatsApp us, we use what you send only to reply.
• Player and team registration data from earlier versions of the site was deleted when the old system was retired.

2. Information We Collect

When you browse. Like any website, our hosting provider receives technical details with every request, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These are used to deliver the site, keep it secure and fix problems.

When you contact us. If you email info@therealpcl.com, call us or message us on WhatsApp, we receive your contact details and whatever you choose to tell us, and we use them only to answer you. Messages sent through WhatsApp are also subject to WhatsApp's own privacy policy.

Earlier registrations.Earlier versions of this site, through the league's old online system, collected player and team registration details, nominations and user accounts. That registration and player data was deleted when the old system was retired. This site does not collect registration details. If you have a question about this, email info@therealpcl.com.

3. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are read. It sets cookies (names beginning with _ga) and records details such as the pages you view, how you arrived, your device and browser, and your approximate location. Google provides this service to us; see how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can block Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

4. Advertising (Google AdSense)

The site shows ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to show ads, limit how often you see them, measure them and protect against fraud. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to show ads based on your previous visits to this site and other sites.

You can turn off personalised ads from Google in My Ad Center, and opt out of some other vendors' personalised ads at aboutads.info.

5. Your Consent Choices

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you are asked for consent through Google's consent message (Google AdSense Privacy & messaging, a Google-certified consent management platform). It asks whether you agree to cookies and the use of your data for ads and measurement, and you can accept, decline or choose specific purposes.

Until you choose, Google Analytics runs without cookies (it may still send cookieless measurement pings, through Google consent mode) and ads are not personalised; Google's ad code reads your choice from the consent message itself. Your choice is applied as soon as you make it. To change it later, clear this site's cookies in your browser and the message will be shown again on your next visit.

For visitors from other countries, consent mode is set to allow analytics and advertising by default; the opt-outs above still apply. Wherever you are, you can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

6. YouTube

The matches pageand the home page list videos from the league's YouTube channel. Their thumbnail images are loaded from Google's servers, and selecting a video opens it on YouTube, where Google's privacy policy applies.

7. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. It is processed by the service providers named above (our hosting provider and Google) to run the site, and we may disclose information where the law requires it.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to how it is used. Email info@therealpcl.com and we will respond.

9. Changes to This Policy

If the way the site handles information changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
